I have called Spartanburg my home now for 20 years. I started my restaurant experience in 1988 with Cracker Barrel. I ventured into several other fields over the following years including accounts receivable, child care, sales, photography, retail, an even owned my own small business. I started my career with Wade’s as a waitress in 2002. After working here for 3 years, I decided that if I wanted to move into management this was definitely the right place to do it. The principles and values that Wade’s was built on were definitely things I wanted to be associated with. Unfortunately, no management positions were available, so I left Wade’s to be a manager for another foodservice establishment. Eight months later, I was fortunate enough to return to Wade’s as an associate manager. I have been married for 15 years now to my husband, Andy. We have two daughters, Jessie and Jamie. My oldest daughter told me not too long ago that “I should be proud to work at Wade’s because they have the best mashed potatoes.” Needless to say, she was right on both counts. |
